THE TEAM

More than a shop,

a carefully curated selection

We select bottles with identity, producers with history, and combinations that make sense at the table.

FOUNDER, SOMMELIER & CURATOR

Cristiano Andrade

Not everything starts with a business plan.
Sometimes it starts with curiosity and evolves into an obsession.
A certified sommelier with a background in Marketing and Management, Cristiano built his career at the intersection of strategy, education, and enogastronomy. Over the years, he deepened his knowledge, visited estates, and explored terroirs with a clear focus: finding wines with identity.
This journey found its voice on the @descobrindo_vinhos profile. And it took shape in WineGourmet.

Today, every wine in the store goes through his personal criteria:

It has to be authentic

It has to make sense

You have to earn your place here

CHEF, SOMMELIER & GASTRONOMIC CURATION

Fábio Moraes

If wine is half the experience, the rest happens at the table.
Chef and sommelier, Fábio is responsible for WineGourmet's gastronomic curation. More than just selecting products, he builds connections between wine, food, and the moment – creating combinations that make practical sense.
He is also the creator of the @amantesdovinhoportugues profile, a reference among wine enthusiasts in Portugal, where he shares experiences, pairings, tips, and discoveries from the wine world.
At WineGourmet, his role goes beyond selection:

Pair the wines in the shop

Contributes directly to the suggestions for each label

Transform each bottle into a dining experience

On the Blog, we take this approach even further, with practical recipes and pairings, because here, wine isn't theory.
It's real use.

ENOLOGIST, PRODUCER & TECHNICAL CURATORSHIP

John Fernandes

This is where depth comes in.
A winemaker, consultant, and Vinho Verde producer, João has known wine from its origin.

Your participation ensures something essential:
wines are not chosen just by their discourse, they are validated in practice.

WineGourmet isn't about quantity.
It's about choice.

Here, every bottle has a reason.
